At the start-up of an operation, the staff at International Automated Brokers (IAB), Inc., works with you to understand your product. We discuss the tariff classifications, valuation, marking, licensing, special provisions (NAFTA, etc.), and other government agency requirements. We can pursue administrative rulings to insure correct application of Customs Regulations and Tariff Laws to your product. As your authorized agent, we control your cargo from port of arrival to a destination. We write cargo insurance, correspond with shipping lines, file import/export papers, ascertain Customs duties/fees, arrange trucking, and obtain bonds.
